What is Toxoplasmosis?Toxoplasmosis is a parasitic infection caused by the microscopic protozoan Toxoplasma gondii found in cat feces, garden soil, raw and uncooked meat. It can cause serious brain infections, leading to headache, confusion, seizures and other problems, it also involve lung, pancreas, heart, adrenal glands and occurs in paitents who are immunosuppressed. It is transmitted to humans from infected cats, by eating raw, uncooked meat which is infected, unwashed fruit.by drinking infected water.It is common in both women and men.
