Tetanus is an infectious, serious fatal disease caused by clostridium tetani bacteria live in soil, manure,dust and saliva which enters the body through wounds. It produces painful, rigid muscle contractions, specially in the neck, lower jaw, tonic spasms and respiratory paralysis .Tetanus is not contagious disease and rarely found in united states.
