Hydrocephalus
What is hydrocephalus?
Hydrocephalus is an an accumulation of cerebrospinal fluid within the skull which is caused by an obstruction of the normal spinal fluid passage from one fluid chamber to another and it is caused to the dangerous expansion of the cerebral ventricles.
Causes of hydrocephalus
The cause of hydrocephalus have not understood properly but it is thought that itis an inherited problem or may occur within family. Some other factors are also ther which may cause to the hydrocephalus and that includes dangerous expansion of the cerebral ventricles or certain disease like diseases such as meningitis, tumors, traumatic head injury etc.
