What is fluoridation?
Fluoridation is a water treatment to prevent dental cavities. This tretament involves the addition of fluoride to drinking water to help prevent tooth decay. In this process mainly hydrofluorosilicic acid isadded in the water which is supply to the public to reduce the dental cavities among public.
Fluoridation was introduced into the UK in the 1960s when area of Birmingham and Newcastle were fluoridated was fluoridated. But it is not accepted in all countries for example 99% of western continental Europe has rejected or stopped fluoridation due to environmental, health, legal, or ethical concern, only in North American area about 5%it is accepted and tried on people. Most Australians have had water fluoridation for 25–50 years
