Cystic-fibrosis
What is cystic-fibrosis?
cystic-fibrosis is a multi-system" disease which particularly affects the lungs and digestive system and makes a child more vulnerable to repeated lung infections. It is an inherited disease which mostly affects to the lung but may also affect some pther organs of the body such as pancreas, liver, intestines, sinuses, and sex organs. This disease causes the body to make thick, sticky mucus.
Cause of cystic-fibrosis
As cystic fibrosis is a genetic problem it occurs when genetic mutation stops the production of the protein inthe cells of the lung and other organs. A child may carry this kind of disease if two people who carry the defective gene conceive a child. Two genes require to have cystic fibrosis and many people carries these genes but dont know till their child who has the disease because carriers of the CF gene do not have the disease themselves.
