What is cryptococcosis?
Cryptococcosis is a systemic mycosis or it is a fungal infection which is caused by the fungus Cryptococcus neoformans and this is also known as Filobasidiella (Cryptococcus) neoformans. It is characerized by nodular lesions and this kind of infection mostly affects the lungs, central nervous system, skin, and lining of body cavity. Accoridng to the report of this diseaes it is mostly affects to men than women.

Cryptococcosis is a disease by the fungal infection and mainly caused by the fungus Cryptococcus neoformans. It is occurs when a person inhale this kind of fungus and it firstly affects ot the lung and then may also affect to the other organs. It mostly affect to the person whose immune systems do not work properly such as person with HIV and Hodgkin's disease, those taking cancer chemotherapy, or those who are on chronic corticosteroid therapy
