Symptoms of Chilblain
round, red and itchy inflammation of the skin, which is especially troublesome when the feet or hands are warmed after having been chilled outside on a cold day.
Treatment of Chilblain
: preventative treatment is best involving wearing good warm gloves and footwear in winter weather. Keeping the feet and hands warm, eating a good diet and taking exercise to improve the circulation are helpful in the prevention of chilblains.
Cause of Chilblain
chilblains tend to occur in people with defective circulation and may be an indication of poor health or inadequate nutrition. However, some people are more susceptible than others and in these persons, care and prevention are the best remedy.
